I am a Nik Software fanatic. Their plug-ins for Aperture have literally changed the way I approach my photography. While I have consistently found their products to be top performers, I have often thought they’d have broader appeal if the prices weren’t so high.
It looks like someone at Nik was listening to me – (or others who shared my concerns,) because Nik Software recently announced its Complete Collection for Aperture which includes versions of Dfine® 2.0, Viveza™, Color Efex Pro™ 3.0, Silver Efex Pro™, and Sharpener Pro™ 3.0.

Nik has updated it’s noise reduction plugin – Dfine 2.1. It’s a free update for licensed users of version 2.0 and is now available as an Aperture Plug-in.
The new version provides compatibility with Aperture’s multi-image support, allowing photographers to easily reduce noise in several images without leaving Dfine’s interface. The new version also has a control for removing banding noise.
A new license is $99.95 when purchased direct from Nik.
The company has also bundled Dfine, Viveza, Color Efex Pro, Silver Efex Pro and Sharpener Pro into the Complete Collection, for $599.95 when purchased direct from Nik.
